The NTE on-line course is especially for translators and future translation consultants.
In this course the students are introduced to the various (Greek-based) tools for the study of the New Testament. Emphasis is placed on helping them strengthen their skills in interpreting the New Testament writings.
The course includes:
exercises that will help students practice the application of what is presented in the material;
assigned readings to provide them with wider exposure to the topic of the course;
a final exegesis paper that will help them:
demonstrate how to apply the various steps using a text from 1 Timothy and
how to evaluate possible interpretations; make good exegetical decisions and avoid exegetical fallacies.
